This Week:
IN THE NEST - Colonies Begin to Roost [1587-1752]

"For we must consider that we shall be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us."
John Winthrop
Massachusetts Bay Colony Leader, 1630

We will continue analyzing the early days of the 13 Colonies who were maintaining SELF GOVERNMENT just before the Revolutionary War.

It was a time in which the world would change forever...thanks to our ancestors.

Be ready to name the next 11 PRESIDENTS! - make sure you know their names (first and last) - you do NOT need to know the dates of their administrations (that was a typo last week). Here's the sheet if you need another one.

U.S. History Reading [permission from the author and publisher to reproduce the readings is on file]
For next Monday - Ch 8, 10

In case you wish to read ahead another week:

CURRENTS due this week.

TOPIC: National or State News

For this Thursday's weekly National Geography Bee you will continue learning all 50 STATES - we will start hearing the lasclass reports on the Rocky Mountain Expedition Mission.

Here's the Expedition Sheet, if you need another copy.

KELVIN REPORT!

Remember, you will receive a clue each week not only WHERE Kelvin is, but WHAT he is. And he will only be able to move from state to state - so he is in a state right next to the last one he was in (where ever that was)...

And remember, you have to be quick to get the clues, since that naughty, naughty...whatever he is...keeps erasing the clues as soon as the NGB gets them.

More clues coming this week...

REMEMBER...
