This Week:
HATCHED! - Creating a Constitution [1777-1789] - continued

As our Founding Fathers met to provide the U.S. Constitution, a "BUNDLE OF COMPROMISES", some were not too excited. They wanted to keep the Articles of Confederation and maintain a Confederation of the 13 individual states - not a larger, federal government. But they were willing to COMPROMISE and sign it if one accommodation was made - adding a BILL OF RIGHTS.


Our government was leaving its nest...
Our first President was coming into power...
Our nation was just beginning to fly...
